This charming 3 bedroomed house is situated in the delightful region known as the Axarquia, on the eastern coast of the Costa del Sol. Just 45 minutes drive from Málaga airport, the house is set in a small urbanization less than 10 minutes walk to the local beach and marina. The popular Baviera Golf Course is a 5 minute drive away. Bars, restaurants, local shops and chemist are all within walking distance, and the larger hypermarket and great selection of clothing shops can be found in the shopping mall a short drive away. There is a bowling complex, cinema and water park, again just a short drive away.

Away from the busier resorts closer to Marbella, and yet near enough to visit for the day, this area has plenty to offer the holiday maker, whether lazing on the beaches soaking up the glorious sunshine – or using it as a base from which to explore the many other attractions on offer here.

Locally there is horse-riding, paragliding and the local beach has a beautiful long paseo – a paved walk and cycle path - for the less energetic. There are numerous beautiful “white-washed villages” to visit and enjoy the local ambience whether indulging in the local gastronomic cuisine or just a tapas and glass of something chilled.

The stunning Alhambra of Granada is well worth visiting and can be reached easily within a 2 hour drive, making a long but unforgettable day trip. The larger, cosmopolitan resort of Nerja with miles of golden sandy beaches is within a half an hour drive, though more famous of course for the incredible caves – a visit thoroughly recommended.

A little further inland are natural parks, a picturesque man-made lake set against the extraordinary mountainous backdrop – there are plenty of photo opportunities and inspiration for the enthusiastic artist.
